Whilst on maternity leave, my wife Katka translated David Eagleman's Sum into Czech. It proved rather a challenging text to translate, being rife with all manner of mythological, cultural, and religions references plus a healthy dose of scientific jargon. Having an infant to care for between us the translation became something of a family project.

Yesterday, at long last, we received a printed copy. I held it and admired the elegant embossing on its cloth binding. I turned to the title page and noted that Katka had been given proper credit. I flipped through its pages and as I came to the last page what did I spy? This book was typeset in TeX! Oh, yes...

Now *that's* what I call a hoopty!
